How to Create a Work Order
How to Print a Work Order:
- Select “WO Finder” from the Work Order drop-down menu bar on the Main Screen. (The Work Order Finder Screen appears.)
- Click the gray button to the left of the Work Order Number to highlight the one to print.
- Click the “Select” button at the lower-left-hand corner of the screen to select it. (The Work Order Maintenance Screen appears for the selected work order.)
- Click the “Print” button at the bottom of the screen. (A Work Order Worksheet is displayed for the selected work order.)
- Click the small printer icon at the upper-left-hand corner of the Preview to print it.
- Click the “X” button at the upper-right-hand corner of the Preview to close it.
How to Create a Work Order:
- Open the Work Order Entry screen. This can be done by
hovering over "Work Orders" on the main menu bar and clicking on
Work Order Entry, or click on the Work Order Entry button if it
is on your home page.
- A blank Work Order will open. Then the appropriate
information can be entered.
- The asset code must be entered here. It can be free
form entered, or use the asset finder by clicking on the
binoculars.
- The person signed into eRPortal will be the person
requesting the Work Order.
- A brief description should be entered of the work that is
requested, or needs to be done on this asset.
- This is all the information needed. The work order can
now be saved.
- Any other information can be entered into the Work Order
Entry screen later, or by another person assigning the work
order.
